Health Advocates can help with your web site — from initial concept to design, content creation and timely, efficient management. Our web communications clients range in size and complexity from a coalition of nearly every large health care organization in Minnesota to a small international non-profit.
The Multilingual Health Resource Exchange is a complex site that includes a searchable, downloadable library of nearly 3,000 patient health materials in multilple languages. The site offers regularly updated resources and research on the relationship between health status disparities and communication. It also features a members' forum and calendar of events.
Another current client is the Convento de Santa Teresa, a 300-year-old, cloistered Carmelite convent/museum located in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
Other clients have included neighborhood organizations, a non-profit literacy campaign, and a jewelry makers consortium. We built a site using the open-source content management system, Joomla, for a St. Paul neighborhood organization. This site allowed administrators within the 
organization to easily update news content, a community calendar, blogs and an e-mail list of users. We also built and managed a site for community activists interested in promoting their views on the construction of a new St. Paul neighborhood library.
